Yes, yes, I know. ‘Coffee makes anxiety worse!’ But I’m not about to lessen my coffee intake just while there’s a pandemic going on.
Fight or flight mode, check. Oven preheating to 220 degrees, check. Feed the guinea pigs screaming balls of fluff, check.
They say it is important to keep a daily routine. And so I sit on the couch, sipping my coffee, while checking the news. Which is probably not the kind of routine they talk about, but it’s the only one I’ve got right now.
Some hopeful news, check. Lots of crap news, check. Activate content restrictions to avoid checking the news 852 times in the coming hours, check.
The rest of the day I do whatever I feel like. It’s Sunday after all. Day of rest. Plus I want to get out of this funk. So I read, I binge watch a series. I cook dinner. I chat with friends. I go to bed early.
